Type: Full-time, 12‑month contract

About the Project


The Project Manager will lead the planning and delivery of the BuySmart initiative, ensuring coordination across all workstreams (Procurement, Accounts Payable, Finance, IT, Communications). The role will also be responsible for change management to ensure stakeholder readiness and adoption in alignment with deployment milestones. This is a delivery‑focused role centered on execution and timelines, rather than long‑term program management.

Key Responsibilities


• Develop and manage an integrated deployment plan (milestones, dependencies, critical path);
• Coordinate all subject matter experts (SMEs) and workstreams to ensure aligned execution;
• Track progress, manage risks, and resolve cross‑functional issues;
• Own the change management strategy (stakeholder readiness, training, adoption);
• Align with Corporate Communications (message owners and communication channels);
• Define and implement the KPI framework, baseline, and tracking mechanisms (with Data & Analytics);
• Ensure readiness and coordination for phased deployments and go‑live activities.

Key Deliverables


Integrated deployment plan and milestone tracking
Risk and issue register with mitigation actions
KPI framework, baseline, and accountability approach
Change management and readiness plan
Go‑live readiness validation

Required Profile


• 7 to 10+ years of experience in project management (delivery‑focused);
• Experience managing complex, cross‑functional initiatives;
• Strong coordination, planning, and execution skills;
• Experience in transformation initiatives, system deployments, or operations;
• Knowledge of procurement / P2P / finance environments (an asset);
• Understanding of strategic sourcing and category management principles;
• Experience in change management;
• Bilingual, French and English.

o Strong coordination across all workstreams;
o Clear visibility into progress, risks, and performance;
o Baselines and KPIs established and used to track value creation;
o Stakeholders ready for deployment and adoption.
