Liaison Engineer (MRB)

JOB DESCRIPTION

AAA Canada is looking for a Liaison Engineer (MRB) working in a dynamic environment, rich in operational complexity, we are looking for a candidate who is strong in technical problem solving. Who demonstrates sound judgment, organizational skills and good communication with different levels of responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Support Engineering Team Leader, the MRB Engineer analyzes non-conformances to landing gear components to ensure appropriate MRB treatment with respect to their integrity.
  • MRB treatments will ensure that the resulting non-conforming product meets all the customer's minimum design and certification requirements.
  • If the decision is that the part can be repaired for use in service, he/she will determine the sequence of operations to be carried out.

Skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical or aerospace)
  • At least three (3) years experience in the aerospace industry. Experience with landing gear is preferred;
  • Good understanding of high-strength steel materials and manufacturing processes (chrome/cad/nickel, grinding...etc.);
  • Working knowledge of geometric tolerancing of 2D drawings and 3D models in CATIA V5/V6;
  • Able to work independently.
  • Oral and written bilingualism (French - English) is important for communication in the multilingual environment of the customer site and technical documentation.

Required experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in Aerospace
