Technical team coordinator
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Technical team Coordinator to add his/her expertise to our team. The Technical team Coordinator directly reports to the Operations Director. He performs tasks linked to his techical position and according to the client needs. He is a technical referent for his team.
He coordonates all the activities of his team according to the objectives set by his immediate superior and in compliance with AAA politics and procedures.
He must ensure the optimisation of work methods and make sure the processes are respected in compliance with the norms set by the industry and the client needs.
Moreover, the Technical team Coordinator must supervise his team and ensure the coordination of operations while offering an exemplary customer service at any time.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical referent and take the role of communicator within a team of more than 10 people. He oversees the achieving of objectives pre-set by his superior.
- Participate to the coordination of new employees’ integration (tasks, equipment, security and safety) so that roles and responsibilities are clarified and new employees are quickly taken in charge.
- Perform a quick processing of non-compliance and prioritize corrective action plans (logistics, technical, quality) and their follow-up.
- Develop an excellent relationship with clients and a good understanding of their needs for everything that concern deliverables and service and build a climate of confidence.
- Carry out periodical meetings with his team to allow relevant information to circulate and take proactive role to share the relevant information and the business opportunities with his superior.
- Ensure a follow-up on work equipment and make validate the orders by his superior when needed.
- Participate to the internal meetings when required by his superior.
- Ensure the validation of timesheets by the client at anytime, as required by his superior.
- Get involved in the annual employee’s evaluation in collaboration with his immediate superior.
- Remain attentive to his employees and check-on the team well-being to enable mobilisation and a sense of belonging.
- Be flexible as he may need to do overtime.
Skills and qualifications
- Technical or engineering diploma in aeronautics
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience plus one year experience as a team coordinator
- Technical experience in service, depending on the team to coordinate
- Strong MS Office skills and the ability to work in a computerized environment.
- French and English written and spoken bilingual
- SAP, Catia, Enovia, 3Dvia knowledge
- Abilities for planification, management and communication
Required experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
