JOB DESCRIPTION

AAA Canada is looking for a Quality Manager to join our team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Establish quality standards with other members of management as well as with operators and production technicians.
  • Establish standards by studying manufacturing requirements and designing test methods and procedures.
  • Establish standards of competence by designing evaluation tests, methods and procedures. Mastery of the MS Office suite.
  • You have a university degree in a technical, quality or program management discipline.
  • Establish the product quality documentation system by writing and maintaining quality assurance procedures.
  • Maintain product quality by reinforcing QA policies and procedures and government requirements; collaborate with other members of Management.
  • Complete QA operational requirements by planning and assigning employees; monitor results.
  • Maintain Quality Assurance staff by training employees.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational seminars, reviewing professional publications, developing a professional network and joining professional associations.
  • Achieve financial targets by initiating corrective actions with the assistance of the production team.
  • Contribute to team efforts by performing related duties when necessary.
  • QSE (Quality, Safety, Environment) responsibilities and authority
  • Apply the current QSE Management System
  • Respect processes, procedures and instructions
  • Apply and monitor customer constraints and corrective/preventive actions
  • Respect objectives
  • Excellent skills in planning, work organization, priority management and deadline monitoring;

 

Skills and qualifications

  • Excellent skills in planning, organizing work, managing priorities and following deadlines;
  • Excellent skills in managing multidisciplinary teams;
  • Excellent budgeting and monitoring skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite;
  • Fluently bilingual (French / English);
  • Knowledge of AS9100 standards

  • You have at least three (3) years' experience in quality management.

 

Required experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
